With a wide and varied coastline, the Brazilian coast favors both national and international cruises, besides being excellent for water sports. The Navy of Brazil is responsible for the protection, maintenance and preservation of ocean coast, as well as the regulation of the activities carried out in this area. The huge expanse of the national seashore hinders the inspection and maintenance of the Blue Amazon, so it requires joint efforts for the maritime territory is not adversely impacted by the exploitation of their biological resources, minerals, energy and biotechnology. Government programs that seek the participation of coastal communities, promoting inclusion and sustainable development in the Brazilian coast are a major opportunity for the preservation of the Blue Amazon, says the Navy of Brazil.
