Originally from Ontario Canada, Tyler's. 30 years of experience include 25 years in the oil & gas industry (including ca. 20 years with Shell and Chevron), during which he has lived and worked in North America, Australia,and Asia. In addition to the current Commercial Academy and CDL role, his commercial experience in the industry includes M&A, Joint Venture formation, Strategic Sourcing/Procurement, technology licensing & commercialization, government relations, corporate strategy/planning & economics, and P&L mgmt + Board-level experience in a small firm. Tyler's years of work with Shell is a global group of energy and petrochemical experiences with oil and gas companies. It consists of the businesses of Upstream Americas, Upstream International, Downstream, and Projects & Technology. With approximately 87,000 employees in more than 70 countries and territories, Shell is helping to meet the world's growing demand for energy in economically, environmentally and socially responsible ways. Years Process Engineering experience in Upstream Oil and Gas operations and projects. Led production gains totaling to 140+ MMscf/d (23,000+ boe/d), and project value optimization translating to savings of more than $5 Billion USD. Enjoys challenges, analysis and problem-solving. Leads and guides colleagues on technical work and best practices to deliver high business value.
